I can write a short paragraph about my favorite sport or hobby with a topic sentence, 2–3 details (reasons/examples), and a closing sentence that sums up my opinion.

Mini-lesson — Writing about a favorite activity

Start with a clear topic: My favorite hobby is drawing comics.
Add 2–3 details: reasons or examples that fit your topic.
Use transitions: first, next, because, finally to guide the reader.
End with a closing: wrap up your opinion or feeling.
Stay on one topic: every sentence should connect to your sport/hobby.
